This event was not organized by the Neighborhood Potluck Group, but was organized by my colleague Joel through the Meetup.com-based "Movies & Meals" group. Joel is also the organizer of the "Cheap Eats" group on Meetup.com.
Joel's groups organize "eat out" events at restaurants and the neighborhood potluck group mainly organizes potluck events. All three groups ("Neighborhood Potluck Group", "Cheat Eats", and "Movies & Meals") are open to everyone in the community.
