Nello's Pizza

We're joining with the Epicureans once again for a lively social event with great food!

The Epicurean Toastmasters meet every month on the first Friday of the month. Their meetings feature one 7-minute speech by a Club member, typically on a humorous topic.

The neighborhood potluck group has been invited to Epicurean Toastmasters meetings many times in the past and these are always exceptionally enjoyable events. Everybody from the neighborhood potluck group is welcome to join the Epicurean Toastmasters for their February meeting. Preston will be there, leading Table Topics.

Chartered in 2003 as an advanced club, the vision for Epicurean Toastmasters was to be a minimalist Toastmasters club with a maximum dining experience. This club is a place for Toastmasters and their spouses to break bread together and socialize without the typical trappings of a conventional Toastmasters program.

Note that this is not a potluck event. Guests will order and pay for their own food at the restaurant.

We will be gathering at Nello's Pizza in Ahwatukee. More about the restaurant from their website:
"Four brothers and 30 years ago- a small Italian restaurant was born in Tempe, serving beef subs, Grandpa Cesare's sausage recipe, Grandma Cleone's spaghetti sauce, cheesecake, and our original deep dish pizza. Our little Nello's grew into an award-winning "Best of Phoenix" restaurant year after year, after year... after year. Family recipes, family genius, and family drama all keep Nello's going 30 years later to new generations of pasta and pizza connoisseurs. Nello’s Ahwatukee opened in 1996 and has been dedicated to creating a space of comfort and good food since day one. Our exciting menu, consistency, and family atmosphere draw our customers back again and again. This loyalty is a key factor in Nello’s Ahwatukee’s long-standing and continued success."
