The Epicurean Toastmasters meet every month on the first Friday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Their meetings feature one 7-minute speech by a Club member, typically on a humorous topic. This is primarily a social group, who meet together to enjoy great meals and friendship.
The neighborhood potluck group met with this club at their meeting on June 2, 2023. We had so much fun that many members of the neighborhood group said they were interested in attending future meetings. Everybody from the neighborhood potluck group is welcome to join the Epicurean Toastmasters for their July meeting.
For the club's July meeting, we will be dining at Mimi's Cafe. This is a casual chain restaurant serving French and American staples in a rustic-inspired setting. Note that this is not a potluck event. Guests will order from the menu and purchase their own food.
Chartered in 2003 as an advanced club, the vision for Epicurean Toastmasters was to be a minimalist Toastmasters club with a maximum dining experience. This club is a place for Toastmasters and their spouses to break bread together and socialize without the typical trappings of a conventional Toastmasters program.
