Ruth is an amazing neighbor and friend an member of the neighborhood potluck group. Many of you know her. She attends many events and has personally hosted many events.
People to People International Greater Phoenix is an organization that Ruth is a part of. They will be hosting a professional program for 5 delegates and a facilitator from Poland Oct 31 - Nov 8, 2025. This program is sponsored by the Congressional Office for International Leadership.

Our organization puts together a week long professional program. One of the required components is for the delegates is to experience American life by staying with families for the 8 days/nights. The host person/family provides a welcoming environment and private bedroom for the delegate with a regular bed and mattress (no pull out sofas, or blow up mattresses) but a shared bath is fine.
They also will share breakfast and dinner with their guest, unless something else has been planned. On weekdays, and Saturday, they will drop off and pick up their guest from a designated place.
Host families can ride share if they live near each other. We do not yet know if the delegates will be university professors, administrators and/or local government officials.
Generally they are younger professionals, in their late 20's to early 40's. Though speaking English is not a requirement for the delegates to participate in this program, most younger people in Poland speak some English today.
