Gail Smith is a great friend and neighbor who many of you have met at past neighborhood potluck events. Gail is an adult advisor for Girl Scout Troop 1020. The girls in the Troop are organizing a neighborhood potluck dinner and cookie sale event, and we would love to have as many people as possible from the community support this event!
A Girl Scout cookie booth will be outside for anyone who just wants to stop by and get cookies. Or bring a dish and enjoy a traditional potluck dinner with neighbors, and friends you already know, and friends you haven't met yet!
What to bring? Neighbors coming for the potluck dinner may bring any food item. Enough to share with about 8 to 10 people. Main dish, dessert, salad, side dish, hors d'oeuvres, etc. Food only. The hosts will provide plates, utensils, drinks, etc.
Inside or outside? Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available for the dinner. Depending on the weather, we may end up using only indoor seating. But if the weather is warm enough, people may want to eat outside. We have outdoor heat lamps and a fire pit. We plan to have a fire burning in the indoor fireplace as well. The food serving tables will be inside.
