Free event. This is not a potluck dinner. The hosts are providing dinner. If guests want to bring something, then the hosts suggest that they bring a small dessert to share.
This will be the 8th year that the Gibbons family have hosted this event. Based on attendance in previous years and already-received RSVPs, they are expecting between 150 to 180 people at this event. It is a true neighborhood event, and not just for their immediate family.
The Gibbons Family would like to invite the entire neighborhood potluck group to this dinner and Christmas lights lighting ceremony.
Of course, if you can not attend the dinner and lighting ceremony, you should definitely come by any evening from November 27 through December 31 to see their famed Christmas lights display with accompanying music (signs will tell you which FM station to tune into in order to hear the music).
