Join us to talk about next steps in the Alameda Meadows and McClintock Neighborhood Alley Preliminary Design Project!
Project Overview: This project will establish a design concept for a bike and pedestrian pathway in the wide alley from the NW corner of Selleh Park to McClintock (between Aspen and Concorda) and is being led by the Alameda Meadows and McClintock Neighborhood Associations with support from the City of Tempe and consultants.
The design concept has been refined based on feedback from the first publi meeting in December 2024, online survey results from the neighborhood, and the physical constraints of the alley (including solid waste collection, underground utility conflicts, and maintaining vehicular access). We want to update you abou tthe project and new design options at the next public meeting on April 1.
Study Area: The study area is the wide alley located between Aspen and Concorda from Los Feliz to McClintock.
Process: This project is to develop preliminary design concepts, project assessment report, and cost estimate. Once complete, this project will help staff understand project feasibility and would enable staff to pursue additional funding opportunities for the project. There is no funding currently identified for the project's final design or construction. If funding were to be identified, additional public outreach will take place as part of that effort.
Share your feedback on the project: In-person meeting: Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 5 p.m. (meet at the alley entrance on the west side of Los Feliz, please see map above for meeting location).
