National Geographic Day is celebrated in January every year, and this year is no different.
Satya Mahapatra attends many Tempe Potluck events and as some of you may know, he is one of our most well-traveled outdoor enthusiasts. In celebration of this day, Satya will organize a fun geography trivia challenge with a few prizes for the winners.
This will be a potluck dinner. In addition to your knowledge, bring a dish to share and fuel your brains for the competition. Looking forward to seeing you there and having some fun!
What Should I Bring? Bring a food dish to share, enough for 8 to 12 people. Main dish, side dish, entreé, hors d'oeuvres, salad, bread, etc. (No desserts, please, as we already have enough.) Hosts will provide all drinks, plates, utensils, etc.
What if I am not a geography expert? Don't worry! This is for fun! And we will be competing as teams. We want EVERYONE to come, even if you don't know the difference between Tempe and Taiwan.
