This is completely optional! Everyone should feel free to attend events WITHOUT donating, and feel free to donate WITHOUT attending an event.
Many in the neighborhood potluck group are familiar with Bruce, who is not only a great friend and neighbor, but also a great event organizer. Many of you have attended events with Bruce or attended events that he himself organized. If you know him, you probably know of his passion for helping the unhoused.
Bruce works directly with local Tempe organizations that work to help the unhoused. On Thanksgiving Day, Bruce is collecting some specific donated items that will be distributed to unhoused in our area.
You may bring donated items when you come to the neighborhood pickleball event on Thanksgiving morning, or when you come to the Thanksgiving dinner event. OR you may drop by at either of those events to just to drop off donated items.

Bruce will be there himself between 3 to 5 PM.
