Please join us for a dance program celebrating Hip Hop Homies with Xtra Chromies! This is essentially a dance concert performed by adults with Down syndrome. It is somewhat interactive in that the performers will enlist members of the audience to participate in the performance. But such participation is entirely voluntary.
Everyone is welcome. Adults, teens, children, families.
About the Organization
Home of the Homies is a nonprofit that was established with a twofold purpose. One is to help adults with DS have a more fulfilling life through programs, events and classes. Another is to teach and provide opportunities for all to learn about and have association with amazing people with an extra chromosome.

Hosted by the Del Rio Ward at the Tempe Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Everyone is encouraged to attend, not just members of the Tempe Stake or the neighborhood potluck group. The "Homies" perform all over Arizona in many locations. They are not affiliated with the venue or organizations hosting this event.
