Free event.
Everyone welcome!
All neighbors are encouraged to attend the Trunk-or-Treat event closest to their own home.
Food. Games. Trunk-or-treating from vehicle to vehicle.
The hosts are providing "smash quesadillas" (similar to "smash burgers, but better and more Mexican!)
The Disney movie "Coco" (2017) will be shown on a giant screen.
This event has been held annually for many years and typically has over 100 neighbors at the event. This is the first year that the event is a "Dia De Los Muertos" event instead of a standard Halloween event.
Families are asked to decorate their vehicles inspired by Dia De Los Muertos and the tradition of "ofrenda," which is a memorial used to remember deceased family members and ancestors.
Everyone - adults and children - is encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes.
Event co-organized by the Rio Salado Ward (a Spanish-speaking congregation) and the Del Rio Ward (English-speaking).
