Best Hong Kong Dining is the favorite restaurant of the evening's host, Stephanie Huang. She wrote: "It has authentic Cantonese and Mandarin cuisine as well as Hong Kong style BBQ. I especially enjoy the restaurant’s roasted duck, seafood tofu soup, garlic bok choy, and steamed fish for their freshness and pure flavors. The roasted duck and the steamed fish are my favorite delicacies as well as the garlic bok choy. The restaurant’s somewhat plain exterior should not fool you into thinking it's a typical beef and broccoli Chinese fast food joint. The restaurant is a hidden gem in the plaza located on the northwest corner of Dobson Road and Southern Avenue."
Stephanie has reserved a room in the back for three tables for us with a limited space for 30 people. Each table has a huge circular turntable. The menu will be a family style dinner (plates shared)
What Will Happen at the Meeting? In addition to eating great food and socializing, the meeting will feature one member of the Epicurean Toastmasters Club giving a speech (5 to 7 minutes in length), typically about a humorous or personal topic. Another member of the club will evaluate the speech and provide tips to help the speaker improve. And another member of the club will present "Table Topics," giving attendees an opportunity speak impromptu for 1 to 2 minutes.
