Many of you will remember when the film's director, Aaron Wilson, hosted a neighborhood potluck event at which he spoke about his plans to make this film. Neighbors from the neighborhood potluck group and others invested in the film and helped him raise all the money necessary. The film was then accepted to many prestigious film festivals. Now that the film has completed the festival circuit, Aaron is able to screen the film publicly and would like you all to come see it!
What will happen at this event? The short film "Time Haunt" will be shown twice. The film is 15 minutes long. Then there will be an open question-and-answer session with the director, cast and crew. The director has some additional short videos to show for anybody who wants to stick around afterwards.
Public parking will be in the Rural Rd. parking structure next to the School of Earth and Space Exploration building. (The theater is inside this building.)
Parking costs $4.00/hour, with a maximum cost of $16/day. Can pay with credit card only.
The location is easily accessible through public transportation. The light rail has a stop in front of the Biodesign Institute Building. Local bus routes converge on this location. Free shuttles in the "Orbit" system operate. The Mars and Mercury routes both stop there. Perhaps the least expensive way to attend an event in the Biodesign Auditorium is to take a Mars or Mercury or Jupiter Orbit shuttle to the University Drive stop, and walk 5 minutes from there to the location.
