Save the date for the next Epicurean Toastmasters Meeting!

Show off your cooking talents by bringing your best chili or another dish.

Cindy Parker will be hosting a chili cook-off and potluck dinner in the fabulous backyard at her home. She will provide the hot dogs!

The Epicurean Toastmasters Club and the Tempe Neighborhood Potluck Group previously had a joint potluck event at Cindy's home on 2 Jun 2023. That was a truly epic event with amazing food and a lot of fun. This is at the same location, but with even better weather!

What: As with all Epicurean Toastmasters meetings, there will be one speech, 6 to 7 minutes long. And there will be a "Table Topics" session, during which guests will be able to practice impromptu speaking for 1 to 2 minutes, in response to a prompt or question posed by the Topic Master. Nobody is required to speak if they don't want to.

What will the speech be about? We don't know yet. These are often humorous speeches about something personal. The point of the Toastmasters organization is to help people improve their public speaking abilities. There are no talks trying to sell you something or get you to join a political party or convert or anything like that. You can Google "Toastmasters" if you want to know more.

The Epicurean Toastmasters Club was chartered in 2003 as a fun social club that meets once per month for a great dinner as well as an official Toastmasters meeting. They are part of the international Toastmasters organization, which helps people develop their leadership and speaking skills. This club's official website is here:
