Have a drink, or a bite to eat, or both. Talk about local issues, or just have fun.
This group very much welcomes new people and complete strangers. If you come and have any trouble finding us, you can send a message to Joe at: 917-330-1327
This semi-regular meetup started a few weeks ago as online discussions with neighbors who decided to meet in person. What to do about porch pirates was one of the early discussion topics. Now... neighbors who attend might talk about that, or about break-ins, or dogs, or about anything under the sun.
There are some regulars who come, and space for more to join us!
At last week's get-together, Kotone (from Osaka, Japan) was there and talked about her plans to visit New York City next week during her break from ESL classes at Arizona State University. Three natives of New York City were there: Joe, Barbara and Tommy. They gave her recommendations about places to see, food to eat, etc. (Also: Some warnings.) Plus there were many other topics of conversation.
