David and Sonia are hosting a special anniversary event. David wrote: "The 1st potluck Sonia and I attended was exactly one year ago for 'Summer Breeze' 50th Anniversary. We were introduced to a lot of great people."
After becoming part of the group, David and Sonia quickly became two of the group's leading event hosts. They have organized and hosted many memorable events at their place, in their building, and elsewhere.
The first event they attended was on August 12, 2022. This special one-year anniversary event will take place exactly 1 year to the date after the historic "Summer Breeze 50th Anniversary Potluck Dinner." This event will be a dinner/cocktail party-style event which will take place in their apartment, or in the commons area of the Emerson Building, depending on the number of people who RSVP.
Who? EVERYONE is welcome. David and Sonia host so many events, as well as attending other events, that many people in the group know them. If you don't know them yet, that's great! Come to this event. That is the main purpose of the neighborhood potluck group: To provide opportunities to meet neighbors and make new friends.
What to Bring: Guests may bring any type of food. Enough to feed about 6 to 8 people. Bring a main dish, salad, side dish, dessert, etc. Hosts will provide drinks, plates, utensils, etc.
What to wear? This is a casual event. Feel free to dress up as much as you want to. But T-shirt and jeans is fine.
