What: Tracy leads the Armchair Adventure Book Club. At the July book club meeting (Wednesday, July 29), we will be discussing The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the famous comedic science fiction novel written by Douglas Adams. Attendees may read the book OR watch the 1981 TV series OR watch the movie (or do more than one). The 1981 TV series is extremely faithful the book. Much of the dialog and narration is an exact match to the novel and the original radio series that the novel was adapted from.
Anyone can come to the watch party, even if they aren't planning to go to the book club meeting. And anyone who wants to go to the book club meeting can watch the TV series OR read the book (or both) on their own, without going to this watch party.
Note that this event is not a potluck dinner. The event is NOT planned as a full dinner. But the host will provide pizza, popcorn and drinks. Guests are welcome to bring any type of food or snack they want to share. This is completely optional.
