Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA) is one of the East Valley's largest social services agencies, serving more than 35,000 adults and children annually -- equivalent to 1 in 7 Tempe residents.

After becoming incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1971 TCAA narrowed its focus to hunger, poverty, health, and housing stability and has remained true to these focus areas ever since.

TCAA helps to lift economically vulnerable households in the East Valley out of poverty by helping adults and families enhance their stability and security by providing highly responsive support that helps them meet their goals. TCAA's core services focus on four primary areas of impact: Food Security, Housing Stability, Health and Well-Being, and Economic Mobility.
